"Look Back" survey~~ Isaac Becerril
For my interview I interviewed my dad,
Q) What were the most important things you learned in high school? Why were the so important? How did you learn them?
A) 1. There are no shortcuts. When you are learning put real effort to learn the subject, even if you don't like it. A shortcut just to be done with the assignment will not benefit anybody in the long run.
2. Be good at what you do, not just good, be the best you can be.
Q) If you could travel back in time, what would you change-in your own behavior in the school itself to make you high school experience better?
A) 1. I would appreciate the hard work my teacher/ professors made to get the best out of me.
2. I would chose my friends more wisely, like I would keep some and would have stayed away from the you other ones my parents warned me about.
Q) What teacher did you learn most from? Why do you think you learned the most from him/her?
A) Most of my teachers were good, but one the I will always remember the most was Alicia Peralta. She truly showed sincere interest in knowing each if us and how different we were as people. She knew I had a bad temper and was always reminded me that if I let my anger control me I might lose opportunities in life. She advised me to use my anger to build, to attack the obstacle rather than breaking something or hurting someone.
Q) What advice would you give to a student to help him/her gave a good high school experience?
A) Enjoy high school as much as you can, in a balanced way, There is a time for everything, even to relax and joke around. Think! Think before to do something . A wrong decision can really change your life. Aim to be economically, spiritually and educationally , mature and stable.
