In "The Raven" by Edger Allen Poe, rhyme scheme is the device that plays a large role. He uses it when he says, in all his stanzas go A, B, C, B, B, B. It plays a hug role because the reader can see how his poem rhymes threw out his hole poem in each stanza.

In "The Incident In The Rose Garden" by Donald Justice, Irony is the device that plays a large role. He uses it when he says, "I take it you are he." Its plays a huge role in the poem because it shows the reader who was the true victim in the poem, and the twist of confusion of why he was there the hole time for the master and not the gardener.
